Nowadays the number of people having issues with their health and not really knowing where to start is increasing immensely. As human beings, we should not solely give attention to the outer part of our bodies (movement, physical activities,…), yet also to what we put into them. In numerous cases, people tend to choose the wrong path when it comes to this. The majority do not really know what to take in and this results in them either not consuming suitable supplements, overusing or underusing them. What can be done in order to solve this issue?

VITA ME is a company that puts its focus on improving the well-being of its customers by creating greater awareness and increasing the knowledge of their overall health.
In the first step, an initial blood test will allow us to understand the patient’s current situation. After careful analysis, the right nutrition will be advised and further delivered to the client’s home. This provides great efficiency and convenience for our customers. They will not have the problem again of not knowing which kind of supplements to take, in what amounts, or where to get them from. So, VITA ME solves multiple issues at once.
Finally, this service is accompanied by an application. The app will be sending notifications. Thus, serve as a reminder for the client to take the medication in case they might forget, to ensure the actual improvement of the client’s health.
The combination of all these services is unlike any other in the current market, making it a novel as well as a unique business model and therefore setting us apart from any other company.

The potential customer is anyone who is keen on improving their overall health and preventing future deficiencies.
However, the current focus lies on two profiles.
We will first target the younger generation as it is an ongoing trend and will intensify in the future to look after your health. They are already familiar with digitalization and will know how to work the application as well as the health aspect that will be of great interest to them.
The other target persona will be professionals that do not have the time to make sure their vitamin and other nutrient levels are balanced. They will most likely be willing to pay a fee to make sure they do not burn out or crash their well-being due to deficiencies they have created over time.
In the future, we would also like to target older people as they have a higher tendency to forget to take their medication, especially due to illnesses like dementia that make forgetfulness in old age even worse. However, the integration of digitalization has not been great everywhere and among all of them yet. But in the upcoming years, we expect that this will not be an issue anymore and we can also target the elderly more directly.

Primary research, as well as secondary research, have both proven that there is a high demand for vitamins and solving problems in relation to deficiencies. In addition, a future trend that strengths this movement was predicted.
Apart from that, any person that was spoken to showed interest in becoming a client, both from personal as well as professional surroundings.

The advantage that VITA ME brings is partly the individual analysis of the customer’s needs.
Furthermore, unlike the competitors, VITA ME puts the focus on keeping the entire process of taking care of the health as simple as possible. So, everyone who is interested can be part of our program, enjoying the convenience that comes with it and also what is another main attribute that sets us apart from others.
Finally, another aspect that will allow us to be successful is the novelty factor. Our great advantage is the pioneering position of this idea in this specific segment.

Our revenue will mostly come from the monthly subscription payments of our customers. Moreover, for the initial download of our application, a rather small fee will be requested. We also might be eligible for government funding and other kinds of supplementary resources. Lastly, we would ask for a percentage of the revenue the laboratories receive due to our customers that have been sent to them to take their blood tests.

The current stage has past the finalization of the ideation. The next step is to find the right stakeholders more specifically suppliers, employees as well as probably most significantly a reliable app developer and eventually attract the customers.

Wat heb je nodig om (nog meer) impact te maken met dit initiatief? / What do you need to make (more) impact with this initiative?

Our purpose is to help people that lack the knowledge to meet their health needs and the ones that do not have or want to invest the time to find the right nutrients for themselves in order to ensure a life without deficiencies and a general feeling of more happiness and satisfaction. The first investment would be needed to finance the production of the application. Also, once everything started, we would need to start advertising, which will create great marketing costs too. However, most importantly will be the partners support in terms of experience and network.
