Yes, Since its incorporation in April 2024, Uni View has grown to over 400 registered users, with 346 seekers and 75 active viewers. We have processed 132 virtual viewing requests, with 101 fully completed and paid. We have also acquired our first business customer: a real estate agency using our service for its own clients. Our MVP is live, fully functional, and was built in-house. We recently launched a relocation package as an upsell, which has already converted five paying clients within three weeks of development. Most importantly, early feedback is overwhelmingly positive, and usage is steadily growing, particularly in Maastricht and Amsterdam.

Finding housing in the Netherlands is stressful and risky, especially for international students, expats, and internal movers who are relocating from a distance. While no one expects them to attend viewings, many want to because scams are common and property listings are often misleading. Agencies are focused on closing deals, not disclosing flaws like mold, bad neighbourhoods, or noise issues. But traveling to the Netherlands just to view a place can cost hundreds of euros, not to mention missed work or class. What renters need is a way to safely and affordably verify properties from anywhere, before signing a contract.
Uni View is a peer-to-peer platform that lets you send a trusted local to a rental viewing for you. For €25.99, you get a full video tour, honest feedback, and answers to your personal questions, without ever leaving your home. Our viewers are often university students with flexible schedules who attend the viewing, record a walkthrough, and submit a short review tailored to your concerns. The process is fast, simple, secure, and scalable.
The seeker finds the place they want to verify online and submits a viewing request via uni-view.nl, describing the property and listing any specific questions they want to be answered. A verified viewer in that city accepts the request, attends the scheduled viewing, and records a detailed video walkthrough. They also speak with the landlord or agent and follow up on the seeker’s concerns. After the visit, they submit the video and a short review. The seeker receives all materials within hours. The viewer earns €12, and Uni View retains a margin making the process affordable and fast.

Our approach is both simple and effective. As members of the student community, we deeply understand the struggles and needs of our target market. This insider perspective allows us to design and deliver a service that truly resonates with and addresses the specific concerns of our audience.
Uni View also offers students the possibility of having access to a flexible side hustle, giving them not only an economic boost but also a sense of fulfillment and community by helping other students.
Wat zijn jouw volgende stappen om het verder te ontwikkelen? / What are your next steps to develop the initiative?
Over the next 12 months, we plan to expand to more Dutch cities, starting with Rotterdam and Delft, and adjust our core product for international scalability. We are also developing features like a discounted viewings package, viewer rating, and an integrated mobile app. While we are not currently seeking funding, we are preparing to raise €300-500K after graduation (Q3 2026) to scale operations, expand the team, and grow presence in the expat and homebuyer markets. Our vision is to become the go-to remote viewing platform across Europe, helping people rent smarter, wherever they are.
