TGTHR is a dynamic platform for interactive matchmaking of both cohabitants and realtors, focusing on lifestyle and preference compatibility. It offers a collaborative design environment where users can personalize their shared living spaces through parametric design and advanced 3D configuration tools, enhancing planning and decision-making for urban professionals.
As urban life evolves, metro citizens’ living needs are changing, driven by rising living costs and a focus on career and financial success, delaying traditional family-centric housing. This shift has increased demand for co-living, offering an economical solution to housing scarcity and allowing young professionals more privacy. However, challenges include finding compatible roommates and the lack of residential properties designed for co-living, which often lack features like equal-sized bedrooms and ample communal areas. These issues highlight the need for a platform that efficiently matches individuals with similar lifestyles and provides access to well-designed co-living spaces.
Our target group consists of young urban professionals, aged
25-35, who are career-focused and prioritize their career goals.
They typically work in major European cities with high living costs, such as London, Paris, Berlin, or Amsterdam. These individuals are often single, delaying traditional marriage and family life, and seek affordable, flexible housing solutions.
They value privacy, compatibility with roommates, and modern amenities, making them ideal candidates for co-living arrangements that provide communal spaces and well-designed living areas tailored to their lifestyle and professional needs.
Wat is er anders/nieuw aan jouw idee/oplossing t.o.v. bestaande oplossingen? / What is different/new about your idea/solution compared to existing solutions??
TGTHR stands out by offering a dynamic platform that integrates interactive matchmaking for both cohabitants and realtors, focusing on lifestyle and preference compatibility. Unlike existing solutions, TGTHR provides a collaborative design environment where users can personalize their living spaces through parametric design and advanced 3D configuration tools. These personalized preferences create a profile that we match to our database of available accommodations, providing a tailored offer. This approach enhances planning and decision-making, providing a more tailored, efficient co-living experience for young professionals. The platform not only matches roommates based on compatibility but also manages bookings, payments, and maintenance, ensuring a seamless living experience in well-designed communal spaces.
Wat zijn jouw volgende stappen om het verder te ontwikkelen? / What are your next steps to develop the initiative?
Our next steps focus on developing a robust platform to match potential roommates based on lifestyle compatibility, managing bookings, payments, and maintenance requests. We will conduct market research in key European cities (London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam) to understand demand, followed by creating a comprehensive business plan. Identifying and acquiring suitable properties is crucial, as is designing them for co-living. We must ensure regulatory compliance and establish partnerships with local businesses. A pilot program will test our concept, supported by targeted marketing and outreach. Securing funding and investment will enable our initial launch and subsequent expansion based on pilot success.
Wat heb je nodig om (nog meer) impact te maken met dit initiatief? / What do you need to make (more) impact with this initiative?

Additionally, forming strategic partnerships with local businesses and real estate agencies will help us expand our network and offer diverse accommodation options. Regulatory support is essential to ensure compliance with housing laws, while a comprehensive marketing strategy will increase our visibility and attract our target audience. These resources will empower us to scale effectively, offering innovative solutions that cater to the needs of young professionals in European cities.
