terra. offers a transparent, end-to-end view of the agricultural journey of organic products - whether vegetables, fruits, or animal-derived - from cultivation to store-front. Our goal is to empower customers with deeper knowledge about the origins of their foods and all the processes behind it, allowing more instructed choices on this product category.

We have conducted interviews with farmers that show interest in having a completely transparent supply-chain. We also conducted interviews with possible product-buyers that would like to have access to more knowledge about the vegetable products. We surveyed more than 130 people across Europe and also found that the lack of understanding of the bio-certification alongside with its price are barriers for the consumption of these products.

Inspired by the Biological certification, Nutri-score, beter-leven, FSC and EUDR initiatives, terra. aims to work together with farmers to install monitoring units that allow the collection of key metrics of vegetable and fruit growth, as well as objective and transparent views on animal treatment and life conditions.
We plan to sell our monitoring station directly to farms and brands, in a subscription basis. The monitoring station gathers sensorial information 24/7 to ensure evaluations that accurately characterize the methods used in the products’s development. This continuous monitoring guarantees accuracy and transparency, creating trust between the farms/brands and their customers
Data is a valuable asset in the current days, and terra. will become the largest and broadest database of agricultural information. This data can be sold to push scientific research but also to farms/brands that want to optimize processes based on accurate, privileged information.

Our solution empowers consumers to make informed choices by showcasing the entire development process of the food—from seed to fruit—for both organic and non-organic products. Unlike our competitors, who rely solely on organic certification as proof of quality, we provide full transparency throughout the production journey. This level of openness makes us a trusted choice in the eyes of our customers.

We will partner with more farms and brands that may be interested in joining the initiative, providing additional validation. Next, we plan to start developing the sensor prototype and launch the first pilot study.

We require funding to boost the development stages to install our first pilot. This pilot will allow us to collect useful data to benchmark the terra. score.
