Over het initiatief / About the initiative
Robot in a week
In welke fase zit jouw initiatief? / In what stage is your initiative?
Uitgewerkt conceptfase
Heb je jouw initiatief al gevalideerd? / Did you validate your initiative?
We have created a working version of the Qube that uses the implemented technologies to sort test products.
Meer informatie over jouw initiatief / More info about your initiative
Robot in a week has as goal to create a platform where you can set up a robotic solution in seven days. To achieve this goal we have created a base platform named the Qube. This Qube is a modular platform where different kind of technologies can attach to.
Modules that we have implemented:
– DeltaPicker
– Vision System
– Conveyor belt
– LED strips using Remote IO
– Cloud Connectivity
– Web based user interface
This project has been set up by Qing Mechatroncis and the lean lectoraat of the HAN and we worked on it with a group of eight dedicated students.
Wat zijn jouw volgende stappen om het verder te ontwikkelen? / What are your next steps to develop the initiative?
The next steps are
– Creating more Qube Modules with different kinds of technlogies
– Defining a concrete architecture of the Qube
– Building a second Qube and connecting them together!
Wat heb je nodig om (nog meer) impact te maken met dit initiatief? / What do you need to make (more) impact with this initiative?
We need more motivated project groups to work on the Qube.
Now we are working on creating a new group that will create a robotic arm module for the Qube.
This module will have different kinds of grippers so that it can work in many applications.
From our side it is important that we give these new students a good starting point with clear goals. We want them to know what is expected from them and how they can make sure that their module will work with the Qube.
