PantryLab is a data-driven, AI-powered food-management platform that closes the loop between household pantries and the food supply chain. Using image recognition and barcode scans, the app tracks inventory, issues expiry alerts, recommends recipes, and builds smart shopping lists. Fully anonymised, aggregated consumption data are streamed to retailers and food brands via APIs, enabling real-time demand forecasting, targeted promotions, and leaner production. Early pilots with 200 households in the Netherlands and the US cut edible waste by ~20 % and saved users €7 per week. A freemium consumer tier fuels a B2B revenue stack of analytics subscriptions, API licences, and sponsored suggestions. Public launch in the Netherlands is slated for Q3 2025, with wider EU and GCC expansion on the roadmap.

PantryLab is the first AI platform that fuses real-time household inventory with retailer and brand data, closing the loop from Track → Cook → Plan → Shop. It prevents waste proactively, streams continuous insights instead of survey snapshots, and, being appliance-agnostic and API-first, scales across markets without hardware lock-in.
