yes

Meer informatie over jouw initiatief / More info about your initiative

Nettle Nest should provide an innovative, biodegradable container made from nettle clay. Once it breaks, it should decompose naturally and enrich the soil. The edible film, rich in nettle nutrients, keeps food fresh and dissolves into meals when heated. This product offers an eco-friendly solution and turns food storage into a healthy, circular process that contributes to the environment.

Wat is er anders/nieuw aan jouw idee/oplossing t.o.v. bestaande oplossingen? / What is different/new about your idea/solution compared to existing solutions??

Plastic food containers play a part in environmental pollution. While alternatives exist, they often rely on industrial composting or still leave harmful residues. Moreover, most food storage solutions offer no nutritional value. There’s a need for an option that’s not only eco-friendly, but also provides health benefits and can break down naturally without harming the planet.

Wat zijn jouw volgende stappen om het verder te ontwikkelen? / What are your next steps to develop the initiative?

I want to develop a fully biodegradble coating that is food safe for the Nettle Container and do a check with the Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit to make sure the Nettle Film is safe to eat and can be brought in stores.

Wat heb je nodig om (nog meer) impact te maken met dit initiatief? / What do you need to make (more) impact with this initiative?

I need to make sure it is fully biodegradable.
