The mechanism behind LeZu is based on the theory that imitating the process that children go through when they learn their native language is the best way to learn as an adult as well. LeZu invites the user to interact with the world around them and add words from their surroundings to their vocabulary. LeZu also challenges the user to read and listen to these words via multiple ways. Only after a certain amount of interaction with the world, LeZu also allows the user to practice speaking with an AR-generated human. Thus, LeZu tailors a gamified language learning journey for each individual user. There is no pressure to speak right away, nevertheless, LeZu ensures that the user understands the logic behind the language rather than translates from their known languages.

Duolingo solely provides with the basics, LeZu strives to actually make the user fluent in their target language. LeZu combines all the technological advances existing in one app and tailors a unique journey for each user. It is a great tool for people who want alternative learning methods.

I need funding for making the prototype and knowledge from people who know more about the technicalities behind making the application.


I want to create a safe space for each adult language learner and make it a fun, but research-based experience.
