Over het initiatief / About the initiative

JLP

In welke fase zit jouw initiatief? / In what stage is your initiative?

Uitgewerkt conceptfase

Heb je jouw initiatief al gevalideerd? / Did you validate your initiative?

Yes

Meer informatie over jouw initiatief / More info about your initiative

The development of the built environment involves trans disciplinary collaboration, where distinct parties focus on specific tasks. Traditionally the process of design and performance analysis are separated, leading to suboptimal and expensive solutions.

We offer a modular platform adaptable to company specific requirements. Through this flexibility, we can seamlessly integrate the power of AI into a company’s current operation.

Wat is er anders/nieuw aan jouw idee/oplossing t.o.v. bestaande oplossingen? / What is different/new about your idea/solution compared to existing solutions??

Current practices involve analyzing building performance at late design stages which severely limits the amount of modifications that can be done.

JLP focuses on providing useful insights at early design stages, reducing iteration, time and consultant costs whilst providing a larger number of design options.

Wat zijn jouw volgende stappen om het verder te ontwikkelen? / What are your next steps to develop the initiative?

We have tested the process in toy projects where we control the front and back office. However, more tests are needed to see how users really interact with a proposed workflow.

Additionally, it will be key to test other performance metrics and see to what extent we can improve a company’s operations.

Wat heb je nodig om (nog meer) impact te maken met dit initiatief? / What do you need to make (more) impact with this initiative?

People. People with knowledge about specific work processes in the construction industry such as MEP advisors, structural designers.

We also need people excited enough to offer us real problems to tackle. The question is never how much we can help someone but to what extent we can help a company achieve a more sustainable future.
