Yes, during our time in Enactus (student organization) our team won first place for problem validation.

In a world growing hotter by the year, we empower caregivers with the knowledge and tools to protect our elders. Through accessible, expert-led online courses, we’re building a future where no life is lost.

Wat is er anders/nieuw aan jouw idee/oplossing t.o.v. bestaande oplossingen? / What is different/new about your idea/solution compared to existing solutions??

When validating the problem we discovered that heat stress was a silent killer, especially with the elderly population. We came across a specific nursing home that had an infrastructure that created the green-house effect. In turn, some of their employees expressed enthusiasm about our project.

During our research, we found that our idea is a part of a very niche market that has yet to be explored which is what drives its potential and purpose.

Wat zijn jouw volgende stappen om het verder te ontwikkelen? / What are your next steps to develop the initiative?

One of our next steps is to connect with heat stress and medical experts in order to gather information and therefore create content for the course.

Secondly, we would like to talk to programmers about the possibility to develop this ourselves and how to mold the course to fit our requirements and wants.

In accordance to the next steps provided previously, we would need a broader network for this specific market as well as the technological aid to be able to realize our idea.
