248 out of 416 people would use this kind of application (59.6%). 57% of the people with an already active membership would use this kind of app. Main reasons for using this kind of app are: People do not want to be tied to a contract, People have no money for a contract and people are working out unregularly.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to pay a small amount per workout, i.e. pay-per-workout, instead of signing a contract. This is especially worthwhile for people who go to the gym irregularly or not every day, for commuters, and for people who would like to use different gyms without being bound by a contract. We are aiming for a price of 3-5 euros per workout, so price-wise ’the kebab of sports enthusiasts’. Further, it is expected that this competition will lower the price per work-out. For this we are developing a platform where you can identify participating gyms in your area, the price and photos and pay the ticket directly in the app or with the help of a QR-code.

The next steps will include developing the platform and getting into deeper contact with more gym owners. The development of the platform will take place in the Chayns application, since most Germans already have this app downloaded and on their smartphone.

  • Good ideas for a marketing strategy would definitely help as well as further funding to drive to different cities and speak directly to gym owners to convince them about our product (or connections to a broad network of gym owners). Moreover, tips for branding are also welcome.
