Yes! Among others, we ran a successful proof of concept pilot with a company (Forward-Inc) to validate our idea.

The World Economic Forum estimates that the global costs of burnout are $322 billion (Tottle, 2016). During our Msc Entrepreneurship at the UvA, we founded Binqy.
Binqy’s goal is to make the world burnout free.
We built a digital tool that is able to assess the well-being of all individuals within an organization, by using gamified pulse surveys, on a weekly basis. We utilize this data in several ways.
Binqy is concentrated on both the individual and the management. It provides the individual with personalized insights and suitable interventions. Furthermore, the management is also provided with an aggregate, anonymous overview of the well-being within the organization. Additionally, insights and interventions will be recommended to prevent burnout, save costs and increase engagement.
We have a partnership with famous psychologist and researcher Wilmar Schaufeli, who invented the Job Demands Resources Model that explains burnout. He is helping us to make Binqy a great success!

Wat zijn jouw volgende stappen om het verder te ontwikkelen? / What are your next steps to develop the initiative?
For the past six months, we have worked very hard to make a start with Binqy. After graduating with our Master’s degree, we are going to fully focus on Binqy. During the summer we are building an advanced version of our platform, which we will launch in October. When the new platform is launched, we will run more pilots with companies in order to perfectionize Binqy.

What we need in order to make more impact with this initiative is simple:
We need more companies who want to transform their organization into one that has a culture in which there is no employee burnout.
